YAY!!! We got a washer and dryer yesterday! We've been looking forever for a cheap, nice washer and dryer set. Cory got the idea to look in Rent-a-center. I wasn't sure about it at first. then he told me it is rent to own system. He just wanted to go in and look for prices. We were both getting tired of paying 20 to 25 dollars a pop to do the laudry at the laundry mat. ok, so we walked in and to our imediate right we see this nice set stacked on top of each other on a stand. we were very interested in that one but decided to see what else was there. it turns out that one was a manager's special and the cheapest buy there for the set. get this, $150.!! can you believe it?! i couldn't. we bought it out right, so we own it!!!

What Deven got for Christmas....a new playroom and a tooth
We've been accumulating to
ys for Deven before he was born. We thought that we could keep up with the mess baby would make by putting it all in a tote. We even labeled it "Deven Toys".We started to get nervous as Deven got older and both grandparents wanted to give him toys and clothes.
soon the tote was over filling. we got even more nervous when Christmas started to approach. sure enough we came home with more toys that his aunts and uncles and grandparents got him. they weren't small either! some were pretty big. So Cory had a brilliant idea. he cleaned the room that we put our storage in and made it Deven's new toy room! Deven
was really excited about that! Also Deven finally got a new tooth! A week before Christmas it finally came in! I know it looks kind of like a bubble in the mouth but it's there! It's a sore subject... He gets pretty miffed with me when i brush his teeth. I swear sometimes he is saying "mommy's mean!" when i get done and he crys and crawls to daddy.

Knees please!
I've been begging Deven to crawl on his knees. This has been a constant struggle since he was 7 months old. i wasn't too worried about this until I saw another baby his age already sliding along furniture. I tried everything! Everything! crawling on the floor with him, taking him to the library to look at kids and babies, showing him babies that were crawling, pushing his knees into crawling position and getting him to do a cross-crawl. nope! nothing worked. Plop onto his tummy after my effort. Oh it was frustrating!!!! I didn't know how many times I said " look baby, he/she is crawling" Do you think it was coincidence that he would look away at the exact moment they would crawl? It wasn't until last Sunday did he see a baby escape from his daddy's grasp and crawl down the isle. That's when Deven notice and actually figure out that is what he is supposed to do! Finally! BUT!!! now he can reach the TREE!! serves me right. I deserve it. He's a fast baby now. Sometimes too fast for this mommy.

terrible
I think that i'm the most terrible person in writing things down! I've had this for a while and i havn't been able to keep up with it. so i left everyone hanging. last you saw i was pregnant. my baby is no longer small. he's 10 months. 11 months in a couple of days! yay!!! we're excited for him to see christmas traditions. ie: lights, presents, ect. He's already gotten into the tree and is in awe of the pretty lights. We took him down to Temple Square to see the lights. that was amazing for him. he didn't have enough eyes to look at it all. constantly turning his head. i thought he would get whiplash. Cory and I are still trying to figure out what to get him for christmas. since his birthday is so close to christmas we have to figure that out too. We are thinking of a new carseat for his birthday since he will be able to be faced forward. he's hating it now. his legs are too long for his bucket infant seat. i can already see now that we are going to have a tall kid.
