Today is May 1st!! May Day, the 1st day of May! The day that you give flowers and celebrate spring/summer.
Well....this is not a good may day. Where's the Sun? it's really gloomy, cloudy and windy. The only good news is my son is feeling better. Yesterday Deven was throwing up left and right. Literally! it was awful! My happy-go-lucky son was pale, sleepy, and not talking. But hopefully that is over! he's happy now and playing! My flowers
i wanted to give out are not even up let alone blooming. the sun hasn't been out much. Deven and I are going to color flowers instead. so are you curious what people do on may day? it's celebrated all around the world! different cultures do different things. (some more extreme than others) There was the decoration of a may pole that you danced around with ribbon. making may baskets filling it with flowers and leaving it anonymously on peoples doorstep. Crowning a may queen and much more! It's a bank holiday in many countries. for me it's an excuse to pick flowers and give them to people.
