ok.. so don't laugh at me

I'm way over due for an update! just so many things have been going on. I'm not sure where to begin, so i will start at the main events and work my way around until i know that i've covered everything. first off, i think some very exciting news happened recently. We signed the papers to buy a house! YAY!!! personally i'm excited! We feel good about everything! and in my opinion I believe that I will have the perfect kitchen! I will post pictures later. I took pictures of everything but I don't want to jinx it. no i think i'm safe with just showing you the out side. Cute isn't it? so far so good. no hiccups which we've had in the past with other offers. But on to other news. a couple of weeks ago Deven did something bad. What I think happened is typical for Deven but he did not foresee tripping himself up. He was on the couch and he wanted down. so he threw the keys onto the floor so he could play with them down there. I was finishing school work on the computer and talking to Cory at the same time as he was coming home. I think what happened is Deven's foot got caught in trying to slide off the couch the right way. He ended up rolling off and falling on the keys. The car key which is narrow is the key he fell on and it punctured his face. I know! I was mortified! I tried very hard not to panic. I know this is very graphic but I had a hard time taking the key out of his face. It was like pulling a key out of clay. I did get it out and automatically tried to stop the bleeding. I grabbed the nearest object which was a grocery ad and wadded it up. So Cory's still on the phone with me. He calmed me down and I realized that news paper wasn't going to work well. Duh! So I grabbed the nearest piece of cloth. It didn't occur to me that I could use my shirt. I thought about that later. It happened to be shorts that deven was wearing earlier. I put lots of pressure on the wound, told cory to speed home, and called 911. She was able to calm me down more and said I was doing the right thing. As soon as cory got home we rushed to the hospital by now the bleeding had stopped. I wanted to make sure that the wound didn't go deeper. It punctured his sinus cavity but I wasn't sure. we took several xrays and they ended up giving us a prescription for antibiotics and put a band-aid on him. They told me if it falls off to leave it off. They like puncture wounds to heal from the inside out. I just wanted a band-aid on so deven wouldn't play with or scratch his wound. to entertain deven at the hospital, because we were there for 2 hours and we didn't get home till 3, I played music from my phone and took pictures and a video of him. Now a couple weeks later you can hardly tell that Deven's accident even happened. Cory and I were saying talking to each other about how it would be to heal from a wound like that now in our 20's. I'm so glad that he healed up nicely. I think it traumatized me more that it did him.
I got a cute picture of Deven playing at the play ground. He was playing in the wood chips. I wasn't feeling well that day so i took him some place i knew he would have fun. That same day I found out some good news!! I'M PREGNANT!! yay! I've been waiting so long to have another baby! I was so happy that I cried! So that is why I haven't been writing. I've been busy doing other things like tossing my cookies! Oh and this video happened last month but I love it! Don't laugh at me when you hear my "motherese". One of Deven's favorite words is tickle-tickle. Go ahead laugh at me. I enjoy laughing and playing with my son!
