Then for my birthday (Sept. 3) I got myself a CRICUT!! I've wanted one of these machines for a while. This is one of the cheaper machines. The bigger ones can fit a 12x12 or 12x24. This one is called a Personal Electronic Cutter and holds a 12x6 mat. I've used it quite a bit! I'm so glad that I got it.
Here are some of the cards i've made with it so far. I'm still trying to get better and I think I am.

Cards
I've had a side hobby for a couple of years. Card making! My husband Cory especially loved this when he found out that I do this. I don't know if he was impressed at the creativity or the money saving. But why blame him. That's why I started making cards, to save money. My cards looked like this one a lot. (my son helped by coloring the cake) I started getting more tools that would make my cards better. I haven't taken a picture of all of my cards. I know that I've made over 30.
These two Cory helped with. He really liked embossing a card. Some times when I'm in a crunch I have him do the embossing.

I made this one at a stampin up demo. Notice a theme yet? I mainly make birthday cards. I'm trying to expand my card making abilities.

raspberries
One of the best and worsts things about being pregnant is the cravings.
My recent craving has been raspberries. mmm... I love raspberries! did you know that it's cheaper to buy raspberries frozen than fresh? plus you get more for you money. This is the way to go for me because i end up freezing them any way. I remember growing up I would visit a friend every summer and her grandma had a raspberry bush. I was thinking about those times while i was buying this fruit today. We were typical kids and sat by the bush and ate and ate. When we were sent out to pick some for canning or ice cream we would end up eating more than we put in the bucket. lol! I'm so excited that the house that we plan on getting has raspberry bushes.
